I edited and cropped this and I love my doggy and her eyes. I neutralized it and it looks much less blue. Love it. Not extremely in love with this picture though.

FIRST PIC OF FALL '09

So I didn't take many pics for the scavenger hunt and I didn't like most of them and a lot of them were annoyingly out of focus, which really bugged me. So I had a couple of pics of this ball and I really wanted to get all the rust in great focus, but none of them were as good as I was hoping. This is my dad's way old truck so I really liked how this small thing showed how old and great the truck is.

FALL PHOTO '09

So I am super excited about Photo this year. Like even though I have other hard classes and will be way stressed, I am looking forward to blocking out time to just shoot and relax and have fun. It will be great to have that amount of time that I am working on Photo and don't have to worry and stress about other, more trivial classes. So although Photo can be stressful sometimes, I think I need it in order to clear my mind and let me just chill while shooting.

Also, with my new camera it will be even more fantastic. Not that the camera is the very important part, but it helps. And I will love getting to know my camera more and love it and find all the amazing things it can do.

Also, I am wayyyyyy excited just because everybody knows a lot about photo now, and we are just getting better and better and its so fanatastic to see old pictures you took and realize what you could've done better or see how much you've improved since then.

Pretty much, I'm just super happy to be in Photo again. I missed it this summer because I was traveling or being busy most of the time and didn't get to shoot like at all. It was very sad. So now I am really ready to get back into the shooting all the time. Which I will. All the time, everywhere. (Hopefully. I will really try.)

Summer '09

So this summer I went to California, near San Francisco, on a 25-day outdoor trip. It was awesome; I loved it!! We backpacked, rafted, and rock climbed. It was amazing and beautiful.

I didn't actually see the Golden Gate bridge, but I saw other bridges that were cool and I saw Alcatraz from a bridge. San Francisco was really cool!

This is from the Trinity Alps, where I backpacked, and this is exactly what it looked like for part of the time.

This is Mt. Shasta, which I summited. It was like 14,628 ft.
