Assignment #3 - Journal After Shooting

So, I didn't get much inspiration for this assignment as I was hoping for... I didn't have many ideas to start with and they didn't grow much. But, I got a few cool ones. I like the one of the grass and gravel where the gravel had spilled over, as if a human had walked past and accidently kicked the gravel onto the grass. But, I printed another one of the same thing, just a little farther away, and I didn't like it as much because it just seemed.. a little off I don't know. And it was the same thing so it wasn't as exciting as a whole new picture. I also like the one of the fence, because it was just at a cook angle I think. I liked that idea for the traces because it was like a human put a fence up to keep out his neighbors, although it wasn't exaclty what the traces assignment was trying to get at, and I'm not sure how good the picture got the point across, but thats ohkay. I also like the idea of doing the path that a human made, but it wasn't great. And the picture was a little annoying because it wasn't like a clear cut path that made a good picture, but I liked the idea. Although again it wasn't like the gravel and grass idea that I think Mr. Patteson was more going for. Although I did like the path idea. For the last picture, I don't like it. It is rather boring and annoying. And it isn't really great for the assignment.. but its like the humans hurt the tile stuff, or tore it up, or whatever. It didn't really fit with what I was going for, but I guess only the first one was really what I wanted. I had trouble when I was shooting thinking of these things, but I think now, if I did the assignment over, it would be much better now that I have some better ideas of what I was really going for.
