Camerless Assignment - Scene 2

The silver handle on the white door matches the 3 doors inside the room the most likely lead to closets. The white light switch is the think kinds that doesn’t move as far as the skinny ones. The soft, long, light brown carpet looks very comfortable but not as formal, like the owner cares more about comfort than formality. The short, light brown bookcases are on the far and close walls. Three on the far and two on the close. Four of the bookcases are filled with books from Dr. Seuss to Jodi Picoult. The walls are a soothing color of white with just a tinge of blue. The window in the wall to the side is pretty big, with the blinds closed but if they were open the room would be very bright. The small circular light in the ceiling shines casting a light that is not too bright but not too dark. It casts shadows on the bookcases and futon. The futon, pushed to wall with the window has a blue cover on the mattress. The wooden frame is light brown with one part jutted out like a table, with a lamp sitting there plugged in. There are 3 pillows, 2 without pillow cases on the futon and one bright pick blanket. I believe it would be used as a guest room, because is very usable but not very homey, although it could be. In the corner, next to the bookcases there is a pile of white sheets. They were most likely used on the futon last time the family had a guest and hasn’t cleaned them yet. There is a clear plastic hanger hanging from one of the inside doors. On the almost empty bookcase, there is a empty picture frame and 3 boxes of book series. There is a white paneling around the bottom of the walls that looks quite nice. There are several outlets in the walls and 2 vents and one smoke detector on the ceiling.
