#1 Thing I learned

So when I was showing my reshoot during the critique Slade asked me what was the #1 thing I learned. He had read my blog and knew that I said I learned a lot. But, he wanted to know what the most important thing I think I learned was. So I thought about it and realized that it was the light. The light can make or break a picture. Even if there is a pretty boring picture, if the light is super amazing it can still be ohkay. Then if you have a really interesting picture but horrible light it won't be a good picture. Reading Meghan's blog made me think about this. Her original picture wasn't amazing but it was in a really good room and the light was sweet. I love your reshoot by the way Meghan! And so when I showed Slade my reshoot and the first thing he said was what light is that? I said it was a lamp and he was shocked because he liked it so much he thought it was natural light. This made me think, and then a shot another picture with that lamp and he said the same thing. So this lamp is my savior. I can take pictures late at night, which I know isn't very good, but this light makes them ohkay. Yay! So I learned that you really need to pay attention to the light because that really does make or break the picture. So, my new best friend is this lamp.
